Early Childhood Education

Our ECE program is intended for kids aged 2 - 5 years who come from vulnerable backgrounds, to prepare them with the skills they need to integrate into daycare/preschool, and to succeed in kindergarten in Montreal. We have 5 spaces in total.
Our pedagogical approach is personal and encourages curiosity, develops autonomy, and exposes children to the world in a playful manner. Every child is unique, so activities are tailored to match their pace of development and their needs. This program helps to break isolation by being with other children and families, offering a personalized approach that implements routine with flexibility. Regular communication with the mothers is maintained to provide them with tools and to inform them of their children's progress. It also helps to reassure mothers by explaining to them what tools are necessary for their children to succeed in school.
Are my kids eligible? How do I enroll them?
Our program is designed for parents who aren't able to access other child education services, for various reasons. The program is small and flexible in order to best serve the unique needs of each child. Each new registration is done with consideration to how the new child(ren) will integrate with the existing students, so parents interested in enrolling their children must meet with the educator to discuss their needs and their children's needs in order to determine eligibility. 2 out of 5 spots are reserved for children of undocumented people and/or asylum seekers.

Meet the Educator
Lilia Dragomir
Lilia is our fabulous early childhood educator. She accompanies her learners with empathy, curiosity, and lots of experience. Her humanistic approach and the small class size allow her to personalize the educational experience for each child and help them grow. She encourages a multilingual environment to get kids ready to live in our multilingual city of Montreal. She also makes herself available to speak with the guardians of the children to share updates on their progress, advice for continuing their learning, and accompaniment as the family adjusts to life transitions.
