Celebrate and Support Women's Services In NDG! Come to the AGM

It seemed like it would never get here, but it finally feels like summer in NDG. As the warmth of the season settles in, we are excited to announce that our 2026 annual general meeting is on Wednesday, June 10th, at 7 pm on Zoom. Come to the meeting and show you care about the provision of women-focused services in NDG that stay strong and relevant for years to come. This year our agenda includes testimonials from our amazing members, some old and some new, as well as statistics on our impact and growth as an organization. Registered members will be voting on updates to our bylaws and giving their input on Women on the Rise's priorities for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.

Summer fun is off to a great start
We've also got a month full of free activities for women, of course! From painting and mindful movement to workshops on parenting skills and tenant rights, we hope you'll have fun and learn something new. Make note of which workshops are drop-in and by registration.
Our support groups are continuing as usual: Stronger Together for support with intimate partner violence, Perinatal Mental Health Support for all things pregnancy, childbirth, and babies, and our newest group Release and Bloom for disabled women and queer folks who have experienced gender-based violence.
The Coeurage group offered in partnership with the Centre for Reproductive Loss has completed its latest cycle, and the next cohort will begin registrations in the fall. You can email laura.aguilar@crl-rho.org to get more information.
