As retiring Executive Director of Women on the Rise, I am really thrilled to be handing over the reins to Nadine Collins. Nadine is open-minded, passionate, committed and has a big heart for Community. She is an excellent fit to lead WOR as we blossom into becoming a Women's Centre, and I am confident in her ability to undertake this new chapter. I leave with the assurance that WOR will continue to be a great pillar of strength for the women in our community.

Nadine Collins is a community worker who has been working within the NDG community for almost 13 years.
Her desire to pursue community work was the culmination of her past experiences and her ongoing interest in this field. Nadine Collins is passionate about the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG) community and its residents and holds community organizations and its services in high regard. Serving the community for its betterment is at utmost importance to her. Ms. Collins has experience in counseling, community, and educational settings and development of programming and activities.
She is an active board member on various non-profit organizations and boards and sits on many community tables. She is the previous Executive Director of Quebec Board of Black Educators Inc. and most recently the Coordinator and Director with Comité Jeunesse N.D.G. at St-Raymond Community Centre and their various day camps.
Ms. Collins is a workshop creator and movement facilitator notably her Gift of Joy, Self-
Care, Love Languages workshop and GROOVE classes.
Ms. Collins is an advocate for families, women empowerment, literacy, mental health, entrepreneurship, and movement among many other causes.
Ms. Collins has a deep passion for supporting and empowering women and gender equity.

I want to thank Women on the Rise for this wonderful opportunity as their new Executive Director and having confidence in my passion and ability to serve the community with an organization and purpose that is close to my heart. I consider this an honour to grow and work towards continuing the legacy and mission of Women on the Rise for our past, present and future members, greater community, and team. I look forward to creating new collaborations and grow stronger partnerships.
I am very eager to meet with you all, get to know everyone more and to start this new and great journey together!
